AFL Victoria is pleased to announce that all 21 games of the upcoming 2022 V/Line Cup in Shepparton from 19-21 September will be live streamed free, in a major boost for the 73rd edition of the competition.
Around 600 of the most talented under 15 boys and girls footballers from across country Victoria will converge on Shepparton for the three-day carnival, starting on the Monday of AFL Grand Final week.
For the first time supporters, families and friends will be able to watch all the action live and free via cluch.tv (https://cluch.tv/afl-sports/afl-victoria/) on any online device, meaning the competition will reach more people than ever before.
Teams representing Barwon, Bendigo, Gippsland, Goulburn Murray, Greater Western Victoria, North East Border and South East will be on show, with 21 teams competing in three divisions across four venues.
Squads have been released for the competition and can be viewed on the official V/Line Cup program here (pdf).

Head of AFL Victoria, Ben Kavenagh, said: “The V/Line Cup has a long, proud history dating back to 1949 and it’s exciting for everyone involved that the competition is going to accessible to more people than ever before.
“Whether you’re a supporter, a family member, a teammate of one of the players from community club football or a talent scout, you’ll be able to watch all the action live and free.
“The live streaming will showcase the V/Line Cup, the 600-plus boys and girls playing as well as the umpires and the magnificent venues being used across the City of Greater Shepparton to broader audiences.”
Shepparton welcomes back the V/Line Cup for the second time this year after the postponed 2021 edition was successfully held in April this year, giving players from the under 15 age group last year the opportunity to experience the competition. The 2020 carnival was cancelled because of the COVID pandemic.
V/Line has been premier partner of the event since 2004 and plays a critical role in ensuring the competition can continue and young footballers from across the state have the opportunity to compete against country Victoria’s most talented junior footballers.
The City of Greater Shepparton has thrown its support behind the V/Line Cup by hosting two competitions in one year, with matches to be played at four venues next week – Deakin Reserve, Mooroopna Recreation Reserve, Princess Park and Rumbalara Reserve.
