AFL Gippsland is pleased to offer free dedicated coaching support for Gippsland coaches for the 2024 season. We have three dedicated and experienced coaches available to provide advice, mentoring and support to local junior and senior club coaching teams.
Allan Chandler, Bianca Helmuth-Pask and Craig McCaughan (pictured) with Josh Galbraith, AFL Victoria Coach Education and Development Lead are now available to work on a season long development program with local coaches.
If you or your club is interested in engaging with the coach developer team, please complete the enquiry form on the Coach Developers page and we will be in touch to arrange a tailored program for your Clubs coaching team.
Areas of support can include training delivery support, coaching observations, skills acquisition, coaching set-up and structure, training plans, match day support advice, coaching behaviours and mid and post season evaluations. The support is tailored to the coaching team and is impartial, development and growth focused.
To further support Gippsland coaches for the 2024 season, we will shortly be opening bookings for our first set of coaching education sessions for the year. With sessions scheduled for:

Morwell – 26th February 2024
Bairnsdale – 6th March 2024
Wonthaggi -13th March 2024
