Dahlsens All Stars Round 1 proves to be a hit!

18 April 2023

With a new format in the Dahlsens All Stars, Round 1 took place in Leongatha seeing footballers descend on the Southern Gippsland town from across the region.

6 games were played over the two grounds, and there were 300 players as well as an AFL Victoria Asuckick Come and Try taking place meaning there was no shortage of football action on Easter Monday.

The standard of football was high, and both canteens were jam-packed from start to finish with one Leongatha volunteer comparing the senior canteen takings to a Leongatha v Wonthaggi home game.

The results across the day saw each region take out at least 1 win and there were a couple of nailbiters as well.

The results were as follows:

UNDER 13s

Southern 9.7.61 def Latrobe 7.5.47

Eastern 4.2.26 def by Western 9.11.65

UNDER 14s

Southern 3.4.22 def by Latrobe 9.14.68

UNDER 15s
