Coaching Courses

Applications are now open for Level 2 and Level 3 community coaching courses for 2023/24.

The Level 2 Coach Accreditation is a blended learning program that consists of both online and face to face course components. The program has been revised and adapted as a result of the redesign and rollout of the CoachAFL Accreditation Model in 2018 which will continue to evolve and adapt overtime. Ultimately, CoachAFL will provide coaches with a suite of education, training and resources specific to the age groups and levels they are coaching, using a range of online, face-to-face and self-directed learning modules.

The AFL Victoria Community Level 3 Coach Accreditation will be offered as a separate stream to that of the State/Talent/AFL Club Coaches in 2023-24. This additional Level 3 Coach Accreditation opportunity has been created to cater for experienced community coaches’ development needs. The program incorporates a set of practical assessment tasks completed in course and within the coaching context between course segments. Please note that the course will be a blended program delivered virtually and face to face over an 8-month period.
